Another sea day, which, after all the days in port, is needed as a rest. OK, so Peter has to run his classes, so maybe it's not so much of a rest, but it still seems easier than being in port, as we always seem to be walking, and looking, and photographing, and more walking..... and it's so hot.
There were a few things today to report - the first was that I was delighted with a sighting of what I think was a Rossi's dolphin. It appeared like a submersible from under the ship as I was watching from the balcony. It was a pale grey with almost a black band. Dead chuffed.
Secondly, the Captain navigated the ship so that we could have glorious scenery and views of various Greek Islands whilst we made our way to the next port.
Champagne
and cocktails were supplied non stop, the sun was warm and cheers at
the ring toss were loud. Music played and the atmosphere was
excellent. It looked like everyone was having a good time. We had to leave to set up for .Peter's art class at 3pm
Tomorrow we are in Canakkale. I've booked us on the Troy visit, since we enjoyed it last time.
Who said cruises were relaxing? It's all go!
